The listing said it had a really well stocked kitchen and sometimes Airbnb listing's say that but they don't. This one is above and beyond. everything about this place is wonderful from the views to the fireplace to the comfy beds and furniture. The hosts were always very quick and helpful in responding to questions. I think it's absolutely well worth the price and we will absolutely be coming back

The place has a lovely view and was everything we needed for a quick visit to nearby App State.

James’s place was as described. It was clean, comfortable and definitely worth our stay.

Maria's place is an entire, secluded home in the woods at the top of a hill. Great location near Jefferson/West Jefferson, lots of hiking nearby (we mostly checked out Grayson Highlands). Maria was super responsive as a host with easy instructions. The house is so peaceful and quiet, both inside and out. It had everything we needed and the master bed in particular was a very soft comfortable memory foam mattress. The house is up to date while still having just enough cabin feel. The back porch is amazing, especially the porch swing. The driveway up to the house is steep but extremely well maintained, very easy access, regular cars can make it up just fine (no need for high clearance or AWD). Would highly recommend this place, the price is a steal for 3 bed / 2 full bath in such a nice location!

Jodi's place was great for our stay. Beautiful kitchen and everything was stocked. Hot tub is the best part!

Sadie’s Place was a a really peaceful and quiet getaway. It had a lot of space and plenty of beds for big groups and the property has some beautiful views and nice walking trails. It is convenient to West Jefferson and Sparta and there’s plenty to do in the region. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan to again!

The home and grounds were pristine, private and beautiful. We enjoyed the space for our animals and family to spread out and then come back to together. The fire area outside with the hot tub was a huge win for the grandkids. The inside was perfectly appointed and well stocked. We will return here as a family! Perfect fit for our big growing family.

Amy and her husband are very friendly. It’s a very peaceful place as I lived in South Carolina and I travel up here to work for the time being I love studying at her place. This is the second week that I stayed. I will be staying there more. I enjoyed myself very friendly to talk to and she makes beautiful pottery, but as her place it’s sparkly clean very comfortable and warm and there is a local sushi restaurant and a pizzeria that I ate at that I haven’t enjoyed and will visit again.

Quick weekend trip with friends to the Hills of NC! Great getaway and Sarah's Place fit our vibe perfectly!!! Loved walking all over town from our location! Will stay here again!

We had a lovely time at Luc and Linda’s place. It is walkable to ASU and downtown which is great bc we couldn’t get an Uber. The place itself was well-maintained, had everything that you’d need to stay for a couple of days. I’m also happy that there was a futon sofa so 2 of us got our own beds. The space is well-lit and clean in a safe and quiet neighborhood, so I’d 💯 recommend if you’re visiting Boone.

The Green Nest was perfect for our visit to Boone, and walkable to King Street and App State. We had a relaxing time and I would highly recommend this place.

We chose this property due to its location, cost, and pictures. We were there for a quick weekend to visit family in the area. The unit was clean and comfortable. While we did not prepare meals the kitchen seemed very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The area was 100% safe and the location was excellent. Maybe a little too close to Kilwans Chocolate Store. It was quiet, even though it was located on West Jefferson's Main Street. Instructions for checkout were displayed on the refrigerator. Can't imagine anyone not being extremely happy with this unit and we would love to stay again.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is one of our favorite places to stay when it is the 2 of us!! Only thing I would change is having coffee,tea, little shampoo/conditioner basket welcome basket available upon arrival. Just makes life so much easier especially if you get in later and don't realize that is not provided. Just a thought for the price of rental. Again not complaining it would just be a nice little thought.

Great place to stay while visiting town. Very clean, instructions are very clear and understandable, place is close to King Street, and host is so nice and communicative. Definitely recommend for anybody needing quick and quiet place to stay.

Only needed it for one night for a school event. Very nice place and walking access to everything! Would stay here again!!

This was our second year at Sugar mountain and first time at Allan’s place! The kitchen was well stocked and I was able to bake my homemade treats. Lots of pots and pans for your stay! The place was very spacious and the view well it’s just immaculate. Would stay again! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

We had the best time at Nicole’s place. The condo is very spacious, extremely clean, peaceful, and has beautiful views. We loved hanging out on the porch and winding down inside by the fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. We took advantage of the playground and indoor pool located on the resort. The location is super close to Main Street and right by the blue ridge parkway for many hikes. Nicole is super responsive for any questions. We will be back!

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

Liz and Chris have a wonderful condo, the walk to the slopes is very short, and they have a private locker available on the slopes to store ski gear, which makes the walk even easier.

Though it’s close to the main road, you need four-wheel drive in winter to get to this condo. We got stuck and could not reach the condo- ended up driving to the next town for snow chains as that was the only way to get there. It’s a nice place and very close to Beech Mountain but important to be aware of accessibility in winter.

Fabby is a wonderful host! The beautiful unit was well stocked with everything we needed. I see the care Fabby puts into making guests very comfortable for their stay. We adored being so close to the slopes. We could see the chair lift from the balcony. I highly recommend this location. We would love to return.

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.
