This is the perfect getaway spot. It's close enough to Clarins that you can get a meal there but it feels remote and secluded. The views are amazing!! The space is comfortable and has everything you need for a weekend away, even if you plan to cook.

My family and I slept over on our way too Kruger National Park from East London.Our stay was brief but we felt right at home. The accommodation is perfect for our family. We have 2 boys. 12 and 3. close to a mall where we had dinner and could have some beers after a long day on the road. We wil definitely be back.

Amazing place and host. Helped us with an early check in and late checkout so that we could get to do everything we wanted at Clarens. The location is apt. A couple of minutes from all the cafés and restaurants. The Clarens Valley Conservancy hike with our pets was fun (5 mins drive by car). The lichen pass starts from where we stayed and the drive through the golden gate national park was out of the world and the hikes that we did at the national park. Great for a weekend. Would totally recommend the place.

We had a lovely stay at Nerine’s place. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. There was nice decor, very comfortable beds, and all amenities as described. We walked to two great restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Nerine was very nice and responsive in her communications and her caretaker was also very nice, easy to reach and helpful. We’d highly recommend Nerine’s place to other travelers!

Swartland house is a must experience in Clarens! We really enjoyed the beautiful garden and mountains in the background sitting on the porch. The house is very skillfully decorated and feels very welcoming. We had everything and more then we could need in our short stay. Walker welcomed us, showed us around and made himself available for anything we would need. Pam is a perfect host. Checked in on a regular basis. Informed us about all the delightful restaurants. We can highly recommend this stunning house. We will definitely be back winter time to see the snow on the mountains.

*****ABOSOLUTE BREATHTAKING STAY Our stay at PLATTELAND HOLIDAY HOME was nothing short of magical! The setting was exquisite-spacious, spotless and perfectly located right at the doorstep of the Clarens Reserve. The trail leading directly from the house to a stunning dam offered spectacular mountain views, making it an unforgettable adventure. We did the trail with three kids, incl. our 3yr old, it was an absolute joy! Evenings by the fire pit were a special highlight-perfect for stargazing in complete tranquility. Our host Mari, was phenomenal - attentive, thoughtful and always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. If you are looking for peace, quiet and a sense of adventure PLATTELAND HOLIDAY HOME is a must visit. Thank you for having us Mari. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at The Herenberg in Rosendal Town was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the serene atmosphere and the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The house itself is beautifully designed with modern amenities. It really felt like a peaceful retreat, perfect for unwinding.
