We would recommend this place to anyone! Cobus was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. The space was equipped with everything you would need and is great for summer and winter stays. It has a great area outside with a pool, braai place and comfortable seating under trees, making it feel homey and like your own private oasis. It is within walking distance from a hiking trail, beach, two restaurants and a small convenience store. Overall it is a magical place and worth a visit!

Helt utrolig varmt og imødekommende værtspar, som gik en ekstra mil for at imødekomme vores behov. Vi ankom desværre med syge børn, men John var virkelig fleksibel i forhold til ankomsttidspunkt, så vi havde mindst mulig gene. Altid hurtigt responderende, gav gode tips til familievenlig restauranter og udlånte os desuden fine body boards! Alt i alt en super fin lejlighed med fantastisk privat og flot have, tæt afstand til skøn strand. Super udsigt ud over bugten. Vi kommer meget gerne tilbage en anden gang.

Loved staying here. It was very tranquil and easy to unwind. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and the bungalow was really child friendly. The pool, braai and children’s amenities were standouts for us - 10/10 would recommend.

We had a lovely time at the house. It’s better than the pictures and location within the canals is amazing. The house itself has multiple living areas, very well equipped and the pool is lovely. I recommend it and I would definitely come back.

Spacious living area, and lotsa rooms. Perfect for big families or group of friends. Walking distance to lagoon and beach. Perfect spot to spend the day, especially for the kids. Will definitely go back.

A truly fantastic stay … I would highly recommend Romys place. We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed the house and all it has to offer. This listing is advertised as a home and that is what makes it so wonderful (views, fittings, and other awesome things aside)! We had our kids in from overseas and they wanted to just rest at home. This house made a road trip to the beach possible without a hotel or alien feel. We cooked together in the spectacularly appointed kitchen, had a lazy night or two on the ubercomfy couch reading, talking or watching/streaming on the big screen TV. All in all we felt literally "at home" and the location is perfect. During these summer holidays JBay can be a madhouse but you are far from the fray. You can enjoy the best of the sea without the chaos of too many holidaymakers. It is peaceful, safe, well-equipped, comfortable decor, lots of fun games and truly welcoming hosts. What more could you ask for?!

We absolutely loved the house. Everything was perfect. Beautiful location. We had an amazing long weekend and wished we could stay longer. Would definitely recommend and would return.

This home was well equipped with every possible amenity right down to a TV room, garden hammock and jacuzzi. We felt very secure with electric gates and home alarm system. J-Bay has an incredible beach, if you love a beach walk like us you will love the short walk to a beach that stretches as far as you can see surrounded by rolling sand dunes and nothing else. The home has a great vibe and is very relaxing. As avid travellers Michelle was a stand out proactive host. If we ever visit J-Bay again we would certainly not hesitate to stay here.

Happy returning customers to Chestnut Avenue, great location, 500m walk down to the beach, beautiful sunrises to wake up to and perfect sea views to assess surf conditions. Whilst the house is modestly furnished it is very well equipped right down to fresh crisp white linen and towels. We enjoy staying in this comfortable, warm and welcoming home.

Our stay at this incredible house in Jeffreys Bay was absolutely perfect! The house was exceptionally well-equipped, Kobus has truly thought of everything you could possibly need on holiday. From a walk-in cupboard full of Tupperware to drawers filled with braai and serving dishes, the kitchen was a dream for anyone who loves to cook. The first aid kit was a lifesaver, especially after my feet took a beating on the rocks while surfing. Another major plus was the inverter, which kept things running smoothly during Stage-6 load shedding. The house is very spacious and flows beautifully between spaces, offering plenty of room for everyone to move around comfortably. And then there’s the view… absolutely breathtaking! The main balcony is the perfect spot to start the day, taking in the stunning panorama of all the surf spots from Albatross to Super Tubes. A huge thank you to Kobus for providing such an impeccable stay and for checking in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful cottage with a great stoep to sit and have your morning coffee. Within walking distance from the beach . Second time we've stayed and will definately book again .

Enjoyed the stay, kitchen is well equipped, sea view, close to all shopping centres, but still quiet place to stay.

This holiday home was in the perfect location for us. We could stroll down to the beach to watch the early morning sunrise, we were lucky to see dolphins surfing and then we watched the full moon rise and experienced bioluminescence in the breaking waves in the evening. Nicola was great on letting us know where to fetch and drop off the keys and we have everything we needed for our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful spot located in a secure golf estate. The property was exceptionally clean and the aesthetics were pleasing and thoughtfully designed. It was the perfect size for our family of four, offering both comfort and functionality. The braai room was a standout feature - ideal for all weather conditions and the garden offered addition space to relax. Highly recommend!

Being on the canals is always special, and this house made it extra special. Beautiful home, excellent location and great facilities. Check-in was delightful and communicating was on point. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht. Das Haus ist großzügiger als auf den Fotos. Es stand eine Flasche Wasser und Wein zur Begrüßung bereit. Alles war sehr sauber, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, sogar Geschirr und Vorratsdosen für ein Picknick waren vorhanden. Der Strand in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es passte alles wunderbar, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können diese Unterkunft und vor allem Bonnie weiter empfehlen.

We are definitely booking this place again. It has THE BEST view and if you love the ocean and love falling asleep with the sounds of the waves, this is the place for you. But be quick, we are coming back!
