City of Carlisle: soggiorni in appartamento

This was our second visit to Julie’s place and so we already knew we were getting a great apartment in a wonderful part of the Lake District. There are stunning views of Ullswater, the place is very well-equipped, comfortable and the bedrooms (both en suite) are another touch of luxury! Julie is so helpful and answered all our queries promptly including giving us ideas for local places to go and being a friendly voice at the same time. Thank you Julie for another perfect stay.

Absolutely beautiful hidden gem in the middle of the lakes. Lots of walks on the doorstep. Plenty of information for the walks in the welcome pack. Lovely scenery and very peaceful. Apartment has essential amenities and clean. Alan and Cheryl were very welcoming and easy to contact.

We enjoyed our 2 nights break at Tom's apartment in historic Orton Hall. It had an impressive atmosphere in the building and the overall property and grounds were very peacefull. Just a pity weather was wet and cold. A good base for lake district shopping and exploration.

Margaret is friendly and always very approachable. I felt nothing was too much trouble. Super, well equipped accommodation. Lovely Christmas tree and Christmassy touches which added to grandchildrens’enjoyment. I will recommend to everyone! Thank you so much.

Had a wonderful stay here with my mum for a long weekend! Hannah’s communication was excellent, the apartment is beautiful and spotless. The location was perfect, in a great spot close for walking tracks and easily accessible down to Windermere lake. We had a fab time, thank you so so much! Xx

We had a one night stay in Carlisle and this was a fantastic place! A huge apartment which had more than enough room for the three of us, with plenty of places to relax in and outside there were shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Hosts replied to a request for some local recommendations quickly and helped us plan our stay. Would recommend the apartment and would stay there again.

Lovely flat and a very short walk away from the main streets. Nice pubs, restaurants and gift shops nearby. Very close to the co-op and to the train station.

The perfect pit stop for us on a longer journey. Had everything we needed while traveling with our 1yr old and 3yr old for the night and lovely views out of the windows. We made use of the very handy washer and dryer. Was near to shops like Tesco for food, petrol and car wash. Would highly recommend for a small family like ours or anyone really!

This fantastic Airbnb in peaceful Portinscale is a superb escape from Keswick's bustle, yet conveniently located for exploring the Lake District. The excellent accommodation boasts superb facilities, making for a very comfortable stay. It's exceptionally pet-friendly, with a boot room which was ideal to dry off our water obsessed spaniel. Portinscale itself is charming, and we highly recommend a visit to The Chalet. We had a great time and will be recommending it to friends and family.

This was our 2nd stay at Paul's place. Its a lovely peaceful apartment, immaculately presented and just a short walk to the town center. Paul's communication was spot on and the bread, milk and little birthday cake were appreciated. I have already recommended Paul's placd to family members.

The apartment is in a fantastic location (can’t get much better in Keswick). Clean, tidy and well looked after. Claire our host was great, super helpful and quick to respond to any queries. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at Kim’s place; it’s far enough away you get to enjoy the peacefulness of a quiet road (and the sounds of the river) but short enough of a drive into Keswick for any bits we needed. We did plenty of long walks from the flat and enjoyed the warmth of the fire when we returned! Overall, would highly recommend a stay at Kim’s place.

Judith was super easy to communicate with. The area was great - lovely pub and walks nearby. And Judith’s apartment was lovely. Thank you Judith for a great stay and for being so helpful!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Howe Tarn was such a beautiful place to stay- really peaceful and great location. Mark left the apartment very clean for us and emailed us a guide on what is nearby/ local recommendations which we used. This was really helpful. Great host and great communication. The only small negative was the shower which was not very powerful and not too hot! But other than this, Howe Tarn is a very beautiful place to stay and would recommend it to anyone😊.

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.
