Cotswolds: soggiorni in cottage

Lorraine and Baz were lovely and gave us all the relevant information. They we’re flexible with check out times and all questions were answered quickly. The local pubs were lovely and we met regulars who gave us further information about walks which we went on that were lovely, definitely check out Avebury if you stay. The hot tub was a lovely touch! Thank you very much for everything xx

Hot tub with exceptional view! Extremely responsive host and nothing was too much trouble. Easter eggs were a lovely and thoughtful touch. Thank you very much for a wonderful few days.

This is a beautiful cottage with a huge hot tub me and my partner had an amazing stay here with all the amenities you could want and more it was so clean and felt right at home here 5 stars from us we will define be returning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great little classic cottage. Very quirky and really pretty. Ideally located to the pub opposite and walking distance to the swan pub/hotel which is great and right by the trout farm which is worth a visit. Showers are really good and the separate bothy annex is a really nice addition especially if you have geusts that cant go up the stairs very easily. Thanks again cant wait to come back. Love Bibury

A beautiful well appointed cottage, lovely and clean with comfortable beds. The hot tub in the well kept private garden was a bonus. Poppy was responsive to questions and queries and had left some lovely personal touches to make check nice and smooth. Bath is just a short drive and there are lots of local pubs for a lovely meal out. The surrounding area was quiet and beautiful. We would definitely go back.

Lovely little cottage in a mostly peaceful plot with a nice chilled garden. Would stay again. Only downside for us was a bit of road noise but that's a risk with old cottages so near the road so we were aware in advance of the risk. Carley was friendly and attentive. Would recommend.

We had a lovely family stay. The cottage and esp the hot tub were fab. Lots for the kids to play with and do, and nice to chill out

We loved the cottage ,so clean and comfortable and the garden/stream /swing and animals were a real hit with the children. We were made to feel very welcome -homemade cake ,lovely coffee ,bread and eggs ,such a nice touch with Easter eggs for the kids . Thank you Tracey and Dave .

Great location and easy to find with a lovely cafe and couple of pubs walking distance. The cottage was perfect, very clean, comfortable and private….thank you for the treats, loved the wine and chocolates! Plenty of options for dog walking and the private garden was secure for our dog, loved our stay and the Cotswold.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Picturesque location ideally situated for Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Tintern and Sugar Loaf etc etc. The property overlooks the Wye River and the village has many countryside walks starting/going through it. The property was just perfect for me and my family to use as a base for our recent holiday - thank you for allowing us to use it again.

Deer View cottage is was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a traditional cottage, so the stairs are steep & takes some getting used too, however do not let this put you off. There is a secure garden for the dogs, however a public walkway right across the road through a wooded area & fields which lead to the village green & cafe! Perfect for a morning coffee. The cottage was extremely clean with everything in place ie towels, hand soap, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & toilet rolls (including spares). Bathroom & separate shower was perfect when sharing with family or couples. Definitely recommend Deer View cottage, it catered for all our needs including our dogs & the surprise views in the back garden was totally unexpected! Hosts were perfect!

The bungalow is clean, comfortable and provided all that we needed for a short Easter break. The living area was equipped with all the basics, as well as with free Wi-fi and Netflix, although no other channels were available. The tv was small (32"), especially when seated on the sofa or armchair. During our three night stay, the local Forest School and Oakraven Centre had children attending courses, so there was something of a mini 'Rush hour' in the morning and evening. It was not a problem but required wariness for walkers and opposing traffic in a single track road. The woodland walks locally are good and plentiful, Lorraine providing good guidelines to other attractions and trails. A beautiful area.

Jason was the perfect host. Great communication and the house was just great with all the touches of making sure our stay was as perfect as possible. It’s such a great base for being able to enjoy the surroundings. Our kids had the best time being able to use the estates facilities all as part of our stay at the cottage. Would definitely recommend.

We’ve just come back from having a lovely long weekend away. The location of the accommodation was brilliant, it was very clean, the kitchen has everything you need to cook with, the bathroom and en-suite was clean and spacious. Linda was amazing and she came over to make sure we have settled in and everything was ok. We would recommend The Farmers Arms which is just down the road or The Hunters Inn which is about 10-15 minutes drive for food. We would definitely book here again as we have only seen a small percentage of the area.

We really enjoyed our few days at the coachhouse, which was comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Andrew had to be away when we arrived but was immediately responsive when we had trouble knowing where to go. We felt welcomed on arrival by his note and provisions, and really appreciated the local recommendations sent to us in advance.

Absolutely fantastic host so so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. The cottage was gorgeous, every little detail was thought through from umbrellas for the rain to torches. We stayed over Easter weekend and there was little choc eggs hidden around the down stairs super kind. The place couldn’t have been any cleaner. The location is perfect right in the centre of everything and the front is beautiful especially in the spring. Catherine was so friendly from booking and sent over lots of recommendations then once arrived we had a few chats when we bumped into eachother. Will definitely be staying again and can’t recommend enough. Thank you

We had a brilliant stay at Muir Cottage and it was everything we expected it to be, comfortable, relaxing, a super location for being together, walks straight from the door but also an easy drive into Winchcombe to eat out or visit Sudeley Castle. Highly recommended.

A perfect place for our family gathering! House is beautiful and cosy. The bathrooms and kitchen are so well done--Lauren has done a great job of keeping the warm, cosy atmosphere while supplying all the modern conveniences. King beds available in every bedroom (Not an easy find!) and were quite comfortable. We felt right at home the minute we walked into this lovely retreat. Loved having the pub across the street and a little shop in town for basics. (I also highly recommend the cafe in town!) Best of all, Lauren is a fantastic host--proactively offering recommendations for shopping, restaurants and activities. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great weekend in the cottage. It was cosy and comfortable in a quiet, tucked away location. Kevin’s garden is beautiful and will be stunning when all the perennials come to bloom. Had a great nights sleep in comfy beds and the wood burner was easy to light and quickly took the evening chill away. The cottage had everything we needed and the nearby pub The Red Lion was that good we went back a second night. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
