Mark was extremely helpful and responsive. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay and was very friendly and welcoming. We had a perfect stay:)

George was a great host. Met us upon arrival and ensured we were settled in quickly. The place is lovely and the games room was brilliant. The cottage was well presented and the welcome was a lovely touch. The cottage is a great base if you enjoy hill walking or to discover ayrshire. The hot tob was lovely in the evening to unwind from the days activities. We had a great holiday. Thank you

We had a great stay at Katie's house. Everything was spotlessly clean and it had everything we needed for our stay. Katie was quick to respond to any questions I had and helpful. My daughter didn't want to leave!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at little Peru. Our hosts were super helpful and communication was great. From the moment we pulled in and were greeted by our new fluffy friends - we felt at home and comfortable. The setting is beautiful, quiet, easy to find, it was delightful. Super cozy especially at the end of an evening when it’s chilly outside - so warm and cozy! We loved waking up to the alpacas and sheep and watching them was so much fun. The sheep brothers little fights were fun to watch and made us all laugh. The snacks made available to feed them is brilliant. We drove down to the kitchen coos and ewes experience (around an hrs away) and that was a great experience - highly recommend! They’re super knowledgeable and great guides. We also visited the Galloway Forest Park to try the dark skies one night and that was amazing - so many stars! We will be recommending Little Peru to everyone! Would absolutely visit again! Lovely stay in Yvonne's place, the loch-side location was amazing and we had some wonderful walks along the shore - even saw a seal! Accommodation had everything we needed, only minor issue was that the kitchen has no extractor fan, so we accidentally set off the fire alarm while cooking. As others have mentioned, internal stairs are very steep, but we managed by just using the external stairs. As described in the listing, the bathroom doesn't have a separate shower, which was fine for us but is worth being aware of. Highly recommend Yvonne's place if you need a quiet break, we left feeling refreshed and can't wait to return.

The place felt like home away from home… everything was perfect and intact, my family had a good time with no complain whatsoever. The Furnitures, utensils and amenities were perfectly fitted for our stay. The environment is calm and peaceful…

This was quite a find and perfect for our stay in Ayrshire and great value for money. The location on the outskirts of Symington was idyllic. The house was comfortable, stylish and well equipped with everything we needed (though we ate out every day so didn't really use the kitchen). Derek's instructions were so detailed that we couldn't put a foot wrong. He also wrote a couple of times to ask us how we were getting on, which was much appreciated. Would definitely consider staying here again should the opportunity arise.

We were 2 couples in our 50s & 60s and we each said we’d be happy to live there. A great dice and beautifully light and airy. A top tip would be to keep your socks on or where slippers because the laminate floors can feel a little cold underfoot, as were the tiles in the bathroom (this would be a welcome feature in a hot summer I can imagine!) But this does not detract from the wonderful stay we had. Thank you Carrie for hosting us at your beautiful property.
