I had such an amazing stay here. The place is actually bigger than I had expected and it far exceeded my expectations. The pool was already heated when I arrived, the breakfast served was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I could honestly go on about how amazing this place is, the only con for me was the lack of mirrors.

Great stay in the bush! Perfect setting with several fine touches left by Louise. We had a late booking and she was amazing at assisting us on short notice. The house is very well kept and it was a great place to stay for a few days. Will definitely recommend when visiting Marloth park

Such a lovely house. So much character and charm. The pictures don't do it justice. Really enjoyed our visit there, will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

The place is a little heaven in the middle of nowhere. Very private and beautiful. Clean and the host Frank is always in touch with you to make sure you are safe and everything is in order. A definite must revisit

We had the most wonderful stay at Anthill cottage. It is beautifully situated in the bush and has all the amenities you could wish for. We were well looked after by Lipton and Tuli. The cottage is with easy access to Orpan gate and activities to do in and around Hoedspruit. I can highly recommend a stay at the lovely accommodation

Mike was a great host and communicated well. We enjoyed our stay. The WiFi was very weak and Vodacom signal not great in the area but other than that it was a lovely stay.

Maria was a lovely host the cottage is on a special piece of land with stunning old trees little piglets roaming and the most spectacular night sky view from the garden

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was just beautiful. It is very easy to walk to the nearest restaurants and hikes in town. Overall we had a great stay.

Great house is nice location. Check in was easy and Marnus was super responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer - the house is very cozy.

A perfect stay to visit the Bryde Canyon and the Panorama route. The stay offers a well equipped kitchen and cozy beds. We had a very good feeling about the safety in the area.

Home away from home, with a beautiful view and gorgeous surroundings! We loved staying here and will 100% come back and recommend to anyone and everyone we know! It was spacious, had a great time making food and oh my, the beds slept like dream!! You put your head on that pillow and the bed hugs you in and takes you right to dreamland. I need to have one of these beds!!! It was the best sleep I've probably had in my life! The middle of town was a hop, skip and a jump away and Jacqui was quick to respond and had very helpful suggestions. I personally would definitely recommend checking this place out and doing a wine tasting whilst in town it was🤌🏻 Another thing I would like to mention is that alot of stores are only really open from Wednesday/Thursday, because this looks like more of a touristy town, so if this is just a rest stop for a couple of days and you just want to relax (like we did) I would definitely recommend to stay from Wednesday onwards.

A lovely breakaway from the city. The view is amazing. The cottage is very private and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped.

Exceeded my expectations by a long way! Competitively priced, very well presented and well maintained. Hosts were great communicators and flexible Common areas were noninvasive, room felt very secluded and is in a great area in the estate that only added to the tranquility. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place right on the edge of the Kruger park, with amazing views overlooking the crocodile river. Would happily stay here again!

Great little village to explore. The cottage is amazing decorated and gives you a warm feeling of comfort when entering. You can view the stars at night next to a outdoor firepit or sit inside playing games with friends next to a fireplace. The bedrooms are huge and beautifully decorated and it is a shame the photos don’t show that beauty. The cottage is walking distance to the village centre which is amazing as you can try whiskey tasting, local beer or learning how to brew a filter coffee. Loads of restaurants within 10-15 minutes of walking but I recommend the waffle house as it blows your taste buds away. I have only realised how renounce this place is for fly fishing and highly recommend to stay at Stephan cottage to enjoy this hobby as you can walk to the fishing spots and grab a few local ales along the way.....

Carmari hat auf unsere Nachrichten sehr schnell geantwortet und hat uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl in der Unterkunft mit dem tollen Ausblick auf den See gefühlt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Küche bot alles was man benötige. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt und haben unseren Aufenthalt sogar noch verlängert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! Tamar and Maru are fantastic hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their property is a perfect escape from the city, nestled in a peaceful mini urban forest that brings you closer to nature. The cottage itself is cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic amenities you need. The garden is absolutely stunning, creating a relaxing atmosphere. A special mention to their wonderful dogs, Lima and Moya, who added to the charm of our stay. If you're looking for a serene getaway, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

The place is a stunning and cozy getaway in a superb wildlife estate! There are animals freely roaming about, and because of the ample window and sliding door sizes one is likely to spot a beautiful animal nearby going about its business. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained (pity I don’t like bugs as they come out at night due to the attraction of the lights). Once inside the unit, the owners have installed netted screens on sliding doors and windows to keep bugs away 😍 It’s a home away from home with the right amount of amenities. Definitely worth another visit. PS. We did a gentle solo game drive in the morning and spotted several animals. My highlight was a group of giraffes right next to the off-road driving trail. The tranquil atmosphere has created calmness for the animals and they are very warm and welcoming to people ❤️
