Esperanza: soggiorni in case vacanze

We had a great stay at the Oasis. It was very private and comfortable. The back yard was lush and inviting. There were all the comforts of home on tropical island. We had a couple of rare local issues that were efficiently and professionally dealt with by Ray and his terrific team. Would definitely again!

Maria’s house was perfect for our family of five. Great location, extremely clean, great pool. Would stay here again and recommend to friends. Can’t say enough about Vieques!

Susan's home was perfect for me - an 83 year old grandmother - and my family of 5, including a toddler, 11 year old and teenager. The home was beautiful inside and outside, and most welcoming. My daughter and son-in-law, both Modern architects, greatly appreciated the beautifully designed house. The modern and thoughtful materials were durable and beautiful at the same time. The kids, in particular, loved the pool, where we all spent hours swimming, enjoying the view of the surroundings and the Atlantic Ocean. We loved the outdoor all-weather living space with 360 degree views of both the Atlantic and Caribbean, grill and dining table, comfortable chairs for sunset/sunrise watching. The home interior was lovely and well laid-out, with bedrooms off a hall, allowing privacy, and everything needed for living and cooking, modern kitchen, comfortable beds, cozy living room area and excellent bathrooms. The house was on a hill top and felt connected to the community. Hope to return soon!

We spent four nights at Nathan's place in Ceiba and it was a wonderful stay! The saltwater pool was amazing, at night you can float and look at the stars! The house was clean and Nathan provided clear instructions for check-in. We spent time in Luquillo, Fajardo and El Yunque which are all fairly close, and had several great meals at nearby restaurants. I would definitely recommend Nathan's place for your stay in Ceiba.

An amazing stay for our 5th year anniversary! Bill and Michele were fabulous! Michele met us at the home and immediately made us feel like we were home! The home was immaculate and pristine. Never seen an Airbnb so spotless! Vieques has a ton of creepy crawlers, none here! No bugs!! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The king bed was sooo comfortable! Oh! Don’t let me forget… the toilet paper was probably 3ply!!! Amazing!! Lol!!We felt safe and secure. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. We will be back for our 10th!! Thank you Bill & Michele!!!

We had a great getaway in Vieques and we could not have found a better place than Villa Verana for our stay. Clean, spacious and a pool set in a very nice tropical garden. It was always nice to come back to when it got really hot in the afternoon. Had everything you would need and Location is convenient and short drive to almost everything. Ron gave us very good recommendations and checkin/checkout was a breeze. The place gave us that much needed calm and relaxation feel. Thank you for sharing your retirement dream with us ( for a few days:))

The house was perfect for our family of four. We all loved the pool, gardens, and amenities inside the house (AC worked great and the kitchen was well stocked). The location was great, and the host was kind and communicative. We had a wonderful trip and would return and recommend the house in an instant! Thank you!

As other reviews mention, this place is even better in person. The pictures capture its beauty well, but seeing it firsthand was amazing. Ron’s pre-check-in communication was excellent, and he personally welcomed us, answered questions, and shared great island tips. We were also welcomed by a dozen wild horses right outside of the house, it was really cool to see. After four nights in a resort hotel room, staying at the Garden House was a refreshing change. As a family of four (two adults, two teens), we loved having our own bedrooms. The house had everything we needed, and cooking in was a plus. Morning coffee on the backyard patio was the perfect start to the day. Having the Bronco made exploring the island both easy and fun. Everything was within a 15-20 minute drive, with the grocery store just minutes away. We visited the beaches in Esperanza multiple times, including a night tour of Bio Bay. Getting around was a breeze! We LOVED this house and can't wait to return!

We had the privilege of staying at Judith's personal vacation home. She is good at communication and we enjoy having the place to ourselves.

Adrienne was super helpful and responsive. Thank you! The house was also exactly as described. It was frankly a little larger than we expected, with a LARGE backyard and ample places to sit for morning coffee or evening cocktails. It was EXCELLENT, and I would absolutely use this place again. After visiting Vieques, here are a few things we learned from our stay that may be helpful: 1. Things close down earlier than you think. Bring groceries / have a plan for your first night / morning meals. 2. Transport on the island. Golf cart is fine, UTV is better. Taxis are good, but not always available. There is no Uber on the island. 3. Ferry. Get your tickets EARLY. They sell out. 4. Transport on the main island to and from the Ferry terminal. Uber from San Juan to ferry is easy. Uber FROM ferry TO San Juan is not easy. There are many taxi companies listed at the ferry terminal. Call one of them and schedule a ride in advance.

Incredible home to stay at while in Vieques. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Beautiful views, very large pool and stocked fully with beach gear. Outside space was a fantastic area to spend time comfortably, shaded with steady breezes and no issues with mosquitos at all. Couldn’t have had a better stay. Our stay in Vieques was fabulous, and Renee’s place & rental car were a great match for us. As a group of five, we used all four beds and found them comfortable (contrary to prior reviews, there were no plastic covers). It was super-helpful to have use of the washer & dryer (and drying line on the veranda) and all of the beach gear. The hilly driveway in & out is formidable, but the sturdy vehicle we rented from Renee handled it just fine (and all of the various road conditions around the island too!). The A/C’s worked great for our hot & humid August stay. The kitchen and living spaces were very comfortable too.

Very comfortable space with a great kitchen, comfy living room and porch. Loved having beach gear available. Was a little complicated at check in but worth it, the roosters were very loud the first night but host did provide us with ear plugs for following nights.

We had an amazing stay! It was a bit difficult for the cab driver to find but we were able to navigate based on the coordinates. The house was well-appointed though we did have some trouble locating items like hand towels to use in the bathroom. In all fairness, we didn’t ask for help locating them though. The house had everything we needed to cook basic meals and there was a great selection of items for our time at the beach. The house was centrally located to things we wanted to do on the island. There are lots of roosters and dogs in the neighborhood and we were worried it would be too loud to get good sleep, but it actually was not. I slept so well in the house I didn’t want to leave! We would stay again if we make it back to Vieques and I hope we do!

We loved our stay in Charlotte’s place! It has everything you need for a peaceful and comfortable stay. We spent most of our time enjoying the patio which has a stunning view and hammocks to relax in. The outdoor shower was absolutely awesome and made coming back from a day at the beach a treat. Beach towels and cooler provided came in very handy and the bed was super comfortable (something that I find rare in a lot of Airbnbs) Charlotte was also incredibly helpful giving us tips for places on the island to snorkel and fish. I’d highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for tranquility, comfort and gorgeous views!

Graciela was a superb host, very attentive and responsive, making every effort to see that we were comfortable and that our needs were met. The "Hidden Casita" is a gem, impeccably clean and maintained. The location was perfect for us, within easy walking distance of most of what Isabel Segunda has to offer yet in a quiet residential area where the most noise was that of the local roosters. The view of the bay from the porch was outstanding. We would highly recommend staying at Hidden Casita for a stay in Vieques.

We were ecstatically happy at Casa Amarillo! The house and property are very peaceful and we felt immediately at home there. It sits on a hilltop which gives the porch stunning views. As others have mentioned, the sweet dogs from the neighboring houses come by to greet you when you return from being out — we just feel in love with Rascal and Italia! We couldn’t have asked for a more helpful or welcoming presence from David. He manages the property, lives next door, and made our stay a 10/10. Thank you, David!

Great place! The yard and the deck are spacious, perfect place to chill. The house is clean and has everything you need. The neighborhood is residential and quiet (except for the roosters haha). The house is a little remote (for someone who lives in a European city, half hour walk to restaurants/supermarkets) but by car the whole island is super accessible. We loved Chiva beach (20 min drive). Annette is a nice and quickly responding host. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Beautiful house. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely bathrooms. Gorgeous views from balcony and roof top near the top of a hill overlooking the South of Vieques. Perfect location between Isabella II and Esperanza that encouraged us to explore and enjoy the island. Lucky find. Definitely would book again!

Ashely was a super hostess! She was easy to reach, flexible,and always willing to be of any assistance. When the power went out, she helped me set up the generator over on the phone and even came by to help set it up. She is a gracious hostess and her place is beautiful and very clean. It has every amenity and Air BNB could need! I loved staying here !

Perfect paradise in Destino! From pool views, evening stargazing, short drives to pristine beaches… we could not have asked for a better week stay!! Situated between San Isabel and Esperanza, bumpy backroads made for fantastic adventures. Peacocks on the rooftop in the morning, lizards in the evening, and horses making their way to the gate to say hello :) we hope to be back soon and Villa Destino is the place to be!! 10 stars all around!!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Vieques! The house itself was lovely, and the pool was warm and inviting—we used it constantly. But the real highlight? The breathtaking views alone were worth $10 million! For the price we paid, we felt this rental was a great value. The island is absolutely stunning, with so much to see and do. Barbara, the property manager, was fantastic—always responsive and full of great recommendations that made our trip even better. The only minor drawbacks were the mosquitoes in the back bedroom (despite keeping the door shut all day, they still found their way in at night) and the fact that there was only one remote for the front gate. If you're traveling with two cars, it takes some coordination to get in and out. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely return. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Vieques!

Robin’s home is beautiful, charming, and in a great location. The space is well kept and clean. I would recommend staying here if you want to experience Esperanza but don’t want to have the business of town around you. The kitchen is stocked with cooking appliances, salt& pepper, coffee, so you can easily cook at home. The other reviews say similar things, but we saw one cockroach in the bathroom while we were there. Overall our stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend staying here!
