Florencia: soggiorni in cottage

We loved our stay at Golden View. The location was great and the view was absolutely stunning. Everything was exactly as promised and Andrea was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place if you are visiting this area!

Tranquille, entre 30 et 50 min des activités (Arenal, eaux chaudes, tours de paresseux, nuits, etc.). Lespace exterieur faisait notre bonheur de jour comme de soir, bien à l'abri de la pluie. Jorge, le voisin qui s'occupait de nous (principale communication, questions au jour le jour, où/quand/comment acheter des fruits) était génial. Il ne communique qu'en espagnole, il est très généreux. La maison est grande et les lits sont confortables. L'air climatisée fonctionnait dans les chambres. La cuisine dehors était vraiment appréciée. Bien que nous ne pouvions pas l'utiliser la moitié du temps que nous y étions, la piscine était bien, le sauna ne fonctionnait pas pendant notre séjour. Un coq et plusieurs poules venaient sur notre terrain au plaisir des enfants.

Honestly the best AIRBNB I've ever stayed at. It was incredible. The morning view over the pool to the comfortable amenities in the house... everything was perfect. The pictures don't do this home justice. Although it's a little secluded from the big city, I personally enjoyed the privacy of it. It's about 45 mins from this place to La Fortuna. Carlos was very responsive and helpful through the whole process. I'll definitely have this spot pinned for the future.

We loved it so much! It was beautiful, very peaceful, and full of tranquility. The perfect place to relax. It's close to downtown Ciudad Quesada, restaurants, supermarkets — close to everything. The host was always attentive and willing to help us with anything we needed. The best Airbnb we’ve stayed at so far. We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic view and a really nice property. We didn’t get to see much of the surroundings due to unfortunate weather, but we enjoyed the house a lot. The area is beautiful, even on a rainy day, and the house is very close to the poas volcano, yet far enough away that you are not surrounded by tourists.

This was property matched the description and the pictures well. El Castillo is a more peaceful area than La Fortuna and close enough to feel like you can go back and forth without any issue. The view from the porch hot tub is stunning and makes up for the rustic amenities within the cabin. There was daily construction starting at 6:00am on the house next-door, however, so I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known that before-hand.

La Finca Lodge is a true gem, exceeding expectations with an unparalleled experience. From arrival, we felt like cherished family. Magical ATV tours through sugarcane fields to rejuvenating mineral springs, and serene horseback rides exploring the stunning landscape, were incredible. Culinary delights were 'gastro-tacular,' farm-to-table feasts showcasing local abundance. The lodge's authentic focus shone in every detail. Even early mornings were special, witnessing farm life, feeding animals, and tending greenhouses. Leaving was hard, a testament to the profound connection and exceptional hospitality. This isn't just a stay; it's an immersive experience, an invitation to the region’s heart. We left eager to return, immersed in its magic. Without doubt, one of our finest stays, wholeheartedly recommended for an unforgettable retreat. Thank you to Esteban, the family and staff who made us feel at home. We look forward to visiting again, soon. :)

Un lugar muy bonito y agradable. Excelente para descansar y conectar con la naturaleza, sin duda, volvería a ir. Me encantó.

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en este lugar. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos muchísimo de los días que pasamos aquí. El espacio es cómodo y acogedor, y la piscina fue un gran plus para todos. Además, el billar (pool) fue una excelente adición para la diversión en familia. ¡Sin duda, una experiencia increíble y nos encantaría volver!

Séjour très agréable, la maison est très fonctionnelle et impeccable même si ce n’est pas moderne. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La piscine est très bien entretenue, toujours propre. Quartier un peu éloigné de La Fortuna mais nous avons aimé être justement à l’écart et au calme. Ce logement a un très bon rapport qualité prix et nous le recommandons sans problème.

I cannot say enough about this experience, we lost our luggage and right from the get-go before we even landed Luis had found someone to pick it up the next day, he even went to the chemist for my medication. Waking up, listening to the howler monkeys, in what felt like a beautiful oasis in the middle of a jungle, set in a wildlife reserve, and being able to walk along the trails with my coffee and pyjamas early in the morning looking for the monkeys, was the most incredible experience. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous, with the most beautiful views, it felt luxurious, and cosy… so much so that we ate in two of the three nights, and Luis helped us get food delivered from the restaurants. He gave us advice.. helped us book trips… nothing was too much trouble…. The house was even nicer than I thought it was going to be. We had an incredible time.

I had an exceptional experience staying with Alonzo and his family. Their hospitality was outstanding—they were attentive and responsive to all my needs. When I requested a yoga mat, they promptly provided it, along with everything else I asked for. The accommodation is nestled in a serene and peaceful location, perfect for those seeking privacy and tranquility. However, I recommend having a car if you plan to explore the area. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it.

Es un lugar increíble muy lleno de paz definitivamente es unos de los lugares más bonitos de Zarcero, todo muy limpio y ordenado y equipado. Se los recomiendo 100%

We had a great time in Bajos del Toro, even though we only stayed at Francisco's place for our last night in Costa Rica. The cabin is large, exceptionally clean, and has everything needed for 4 people. Francisco was very responsive and we appreciated his quick answers to our questions about things to do. He also allowed us to check-in in the morning, which basically gave us all the afternoon to tour the area; this was really appreciated!

We loved our stay. The house is spacious, well maintained and clean. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The host communicated well and was very helpful. We even saw monkeys and toucans every morning in the trees brodering the property. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful month's stay at Carolina's place. For us the location was perfect....a 30-min drive from busy La Fortuna on a quiet street surrounded by trees and farmland. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house is very comfortable with nice beds, a well-equipped kitchen and lots of areas inside and out to relax. We loved the pool as a way to cool off on the really hot days. We saw so many animals and birds whilst enjoying the garden (toucans, scarlet Macaws, iguanas, and there was even a sloth in the trees at the end of the property!) Carolina was very responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this house.

Marvin was an amazing host. Very responsive and gave us a great recommendation for stuff to do with the kids. House gave all of us a lot of space for our large group and the kids loved the pool. Even saw a sloth and monkey on property. Would definitely use again if we come back to the area.

Phenomenal Airbnb experience! Roberto was extremely helpful and was a pleasure to speak with. Great recommendations and really enjoyed getting to know him. His brother also helped out when our two year-old accidentally locked and shut one of the bedroom. 🤣 us out one of the bedrooms. Extremely private residence and the pool area with the table and TV outside provided an unforgettable environment for us and particularly for our kids (2 & 8) to create family memories. Very clean rental. We give our full recommendation to stay in this property if you get the chance. Unbelievable experience in beautiful La Fortuna. Gracias, Roberto! Pura Vida!!

What a great place! Rancho Amalia exceeded our expectations in every way. It was such a peaceful, beautiful place to spend a week in Costa Rica. We loved to be in a property where we could walk on the trails and get some exercise ... or just hang in the hammocks, enjoying the breeze and the beautiful view. The restaurant where we had breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed a very good meal with 20 family members. The hosts were wonderful ... helping us find alternate transportation when two of our cars ended up with flat tires! (Though we ended up not needing it.) They were also flexible as I had to change who and how many were coming throughout the reservation process. Thanks for a great stay! I hope we will be back again!

The house was probably better than on pictures. It was perfectly clean when we arrived, all facilities were working very well. No problems with the internet, hot water or anything and beds were very comfortable. Water in the pool was warm and the pool itself proved to be a great addition to our stay. The house has a nice terrace (overlooking the pool) where you can relax or dine. Big plus for segregation of garbage. The location was very good for us, almost end of the road, virtually no neighbours, you could only hear birds - and they can be really loud sometimes :-) The location may be a challenge if you don't have a car - it's a couple of kilometers to the center of La Fortuna and there is no shop in the close neighbourhood. For those who prefer staying away from crowds - this is the right choice! Is there anything that was missing or I would change? Really don't think so...

This was a perfect AirBnB stay. The house was amazing and accurately represented in the photos. The gardens and birds made our stay so peaceful. What really set this AirBNB apart from all others I have been to are the hosts. They were so helpful and responsive. Our favorite part were the in house massages and the amazing dinner cooked by the private chef. 100% would recommend this stay to friends and family.

Pros: Muy espaciosa, excelente ducha y cama king de la habitación principal. A/A en las 2 habitaciones. Muy cerca de la Catarata La Fortuna. Pava, cafetera y lo necesario para cocinar. Muy linda terraza techada. Lavarropas y secarropas disponible (recuerda llevar tu propio jabón). A considerar: No había agua caliente en la bacha de la cocina. El gallo del vecino puede despertarte si tienes sueño liviano :P Vivimos una situación de mala suerte: entró por una hendija de la puerta estando cerrada una serpiente caracolera (perseguía a un saltamontes). Sabemos que no es culpa del alojamiento en sí, que aunque pueda ser esperable por estar en entorno de selva, no quita que nos hayamos pegado un buen susto. Destacamos el rápido accionar del host, quien vino con alguien para sacarla de adentro de la casa. Para el momento de esta evaluación seguramente el host ya agregó una barrera para la puerta como nos mencionó que iba a hacer. Igualmente volveríamos a alojarnos sin dudarlo!! :)

There is so much to say about Emanuel’s place! First of all it was in a gorgeous area. Please know 4x4 is highly recommended! The house had everything we needed. Emanuel’s mom was there to greet us and to show us the property and show some amazing hospitality! If you want the real experience stay here! We are already in the process of planning our next stay with Emanuel!
