We enjoyed the peaceful setting of Birdsong Cottage and loved our walks in the ecosanctuary next door. The history of this home is truly remarkable, and we appreciated having the historical context to deepen the experience. The kitchen was large and well-stocked, with a good-sized table for bigger gatherings. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and enjoying the gorgeous view over a glass of sparkling wine. Thank you, Rose, for your hospitality and for your stewardship of the beautiful ecosanctuary next door!

The lookout is a beautiful family home with an exciting surrounding. Given the location the house is a bit humid, but we'll equipped for adults and kids as well. The hiking trails are very close and Rebecca has great advices for places to visit. We had a great time staying here! :) thank you for all!

Ryan is definitely one of the best hosts I've ever met! He's extremely friendly and always responds to my messages super quickly, making communication a breeze. The house is quiet and comfortable, exactly as described and shown in the pictures. It's fully equipped, ensuring a really cozy stay. Whether you're on vacation or just here for a short stay, it's perfect. Highly recommend it to everyone! I'll surely choose this place again next time I'm in the area!

Wir waren nur eine Nacht, so dass wir gar nicht alles nutzen konnten, was das Haus zu bieten hat. Es ist definitiv das bestausgestatteste Haus, das wir jemals in Neuseeland hatten (über 30 airbnbs in den letzten drei Jahren)! Es ist nicht nur schön eingerichtet, sondern hat einfach alles! Nespressomaschine, gute Messer (selten) Kickertisch, Sportgeräte und viele Badezimmersachen. Also wirklich toll!

A hidden gem of a place. Spacious rooms, large very well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, very modern amenities. Luxurious linens and toiletries that you’d find in a 5 star resort added to the comfort. Tracy is a wonderful host and thought of everything to make our stay special and was readily available for any request. The mountain views are breathtaking. And, amazing stars on a clear night. Peaceful and quiet, away from the hustling crowds.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at James's place and it was equally as good as the 1st time. For us Racing at Levels was magic, just being down the road. We were able to relax within a few minutes of the track. Plenty of room for a big Race Trailer. James a very responsive host and very helpful with early check in and being able to leave the trailer for an extra couple of hours after checkout. If James will have us & the house is free we will definately be staying again
