Our stay was just what we were looking for. It was a nice, cozy, quiet place for a getaway. Location was very close to Shawnee National Forest, and Giant City State Park. Amenities were great, and had everything we needed for cooking. The house was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent!!

This home exactly what we were hoping for! Great kitchen and plenty of space to gather with family. Comfy beds!!! Brenda was so nice and super helpful, and really went out of her way to make sure our family felt at home. We’ll stay here again on our next visit, for sure!

Kate was by far the most communicative , kind, helpful host I have experienced. I was driving 9 hours in inclement weather to see an elderly friend in the hospital. She sent me meteorological reports and checked on me twice during my drive. I felt very safe and comfortable in her clean, quiet, sweet home with several very nice touches to the decor. I felt relaxed in a situation that could have been very stressful, thanks to her and her lovely place.

Matt’s listing was convenient driving to all that St Louis has to offer and walkable to several local restaurants, coffee, and park with brewery. We enjoyed the location very much. The house was as described and fit our needs for two families of 4 to stay. We enjoyed our stay.

I would strongly recommend staying at this home. It is exactly like the pictures and a very comfortable place to be. The three bedrooms are large and the kitchen is a wonderful place to cook and gather.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. Angie is a great host and the property is just what we wanted for our trip to Carlyle area.

I booked this house for family that was visiting from out of state. Check in was extremely smooth. The only snag was the key pad didn't function on the last night (battery died) but Penny was right there to take care of things. Staying here was much better than a hotel room as it gave them space to spread out.

Wonderful place for relaxation and time with family. The hot tub and sauna made it feel like a spa. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. Very comfortable home with areas to relax and watch the view. Nicely decorated. Beautiful view of the sunset from the dock. Lots of things to do in the basement to keep everyone entertained. Spacious kitchen for cooking meals.

The Location was accurately described, and very clean with plenty of space. It has a wonderful kitchen that I wish I would have taken advantage of while we were there. Big TVs and plenty of places to lounge .
