We came just for a short getaway and this was perfect - even though we had some rainy days still we could find options to go and see nearby. The location of the house is charming and very well manageable by car (of course stick with a compact car, as usual in Italy .. roads can be tricky). Simona greeted us with some groceries prepared so we could have the first morning started with coffee and breakfast, also we got great advice on getting around by foot, explore the nearby little cities. With a smaller kid and two teenagers we could easily find the place comfortable and spent a great few days exploring the nature, driving around for sights and eating a lot -- some of the restaurants in the area are surprisingly good, with the one in the village being a great find itself.

Wir durften abermals eine wunderbare, romanhafte Woche in der Villa Bianci verbringen. Es war einmal mehr ein Heimkommen in eine wunderbare malerische Atmosphäre. Zu einer toll gepflegten, ausgedehnten Parkanlage mit prächtiger weiter Seesicht. Angela hatte uns wiederum zum erweiterten einleben in die Melodie des Hauses mit kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten überrascht. Danke Angela. Wir freuen uns bereits auf das nächste Wiedersehen. Bis bald!

The best choice you can make. A lovely combination of a great house, magical surroundings and generous hosts. A special welcome package with delicious homemade pastries, breads, fruits, vegetables, milk, juice, eggs, jams, wine, pasta, olive oil, and many other good things. It's look that a lot of thought was given to every corner of the house, the hosts thought of all the big and small things, to enjoy the guests and make the hospitality unforgettable.The hosts really took care of every detail. They went out of their way to help with anything that was needed. Elena showed us the area, helped with medical events that needed assistance.The hosts were genuinely interested in our well-being.The house is charming and very comfortable. Designed with excellent taste. The mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The environment is great and there are beautiful hiking trails nearby. Thank you very much dear Elena, Maria and Chiara. You will always remain in our hearts.

Paolo e' stato gentilissimo e comunicativo. Ci e' venuto incontro sulle richieste che sono state fatte e il soggiorno e' stato perfetto. La casa e' splendida, si dorme benissimo ed e' situato in un luogo pacifico e tranquillo. Assolutamente raccomandato.

What a beautiful place and amazing view. Joanna was very responsive. She provided all the advice we asked for and more. The restoration of the property is really amazing . One word of caution ( which Joanna warned us about) , approach the home from the top. The road from below is very tight.

Mooie bungalow met een ruim terras (waar het prima toeven is met een goed boek) in een grote omheinde tuin, vlakbij het meer. Toegang tot het meer vanaf het einde van de privé weg, minder dan 30 meter lopen. Heerlijk om daar te zwemmen en lekker op het gras te liggen. Enkele prima restaurantjes en een goede supermarkt in de buurt (10 minuten lopen) en 15 minuten rijden met de auto naar Arona, een leuk en wat groter stadje dan Lesa. Onze tieners hebben zich vermaakt op het meer met een Sup die ze vlakbij konden huren. Het huis is in augustus wel erg warm, zeker in de beiden slaapkamers. Een extra ventilator (er was er 1) zou dus wel fijn zijn😊. Het raam openzetten ‘s nachts geeft niet heel veel verkoeling en is sowieso niet aan te raden vanwege de muggen. Maar nogmaals: mooi en goed verzorgd huis in prachtige omgeving!

Prachtige ruime villa (mooier dan de foto’s) met eveneens prachtig uitzicht op het meer. De binnenkomst in de hal gaf meteen het juiste gevoel! Prachtige trap met zicht helemaal naar boven. De restaurants van Baveno op loopafstand (10-15 min). Wij zaten met 2 gezinnen van 5 personen in het huis. Oprit was wat krap met een grote auto.

This is a very very special place and we had an amazing holiday here swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, hiking in the mountains and enjoying many meals al fresco with the very special view of Orta San Giulia from the house. This is an old family home so don’t expect fancy modern furnishing and equipment. But the antiques and decor only add to a special feeling and beds are comfortable, bathrooms fine with plenty of hot water and everything you need for your holiday is provided. We brought our own paddle boards as it was cheaper to pay to bring them than hire locally and we enjoyed being able to jump on them from the end of the garden and find some sun when the sun was off the garden late afternoon. Also there are bitey midges so bring repellant.

Fantastic villa in a wonderful location with outstanding views. Excellent amenities. Would recommend. Owners made us feel very welcome.

This was our second time at this property. The place is absolutely amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone wishing to have a luxurious vacation nearby Italian lake. We also give extra credit for the hosts due to they (and the cleaning staff) have made tourists’ life a bit easier on relation to very strict Italian recycling requirements :)

The house is wonderful. The views of the lake are exactly those shown on the website Weather too cool to use the pool, but it was very clean and inviting. You will need a car, but roads are well marked and Stressa is about a 10 minute drive. There were six of us in our party with plenty of room for everyone. All of the bedrooms has their own bathrooms with an extra bathroom on the ground floor. We have rented many properties, but this one is among the best!!! We will be recommending it to anyone who asks where they should stay in the area The owner also has a winery about 30 min away and well worth the drive

Beautiful view of the lake - even prettier than the pictures. You will need a car to get to & from the home - the road to the home is narrow and up a steep hill. The air conditioning works well in the bedrooms - the living area was comfortable but would be warm during summer months. We would happily stay there again.

- Wunderschöne Aussicht und toller Pool - Unterkunft sieht in Wirklichkeit viel schöner aus als auf den Fotos - Bettwäsche und Handtücher konnte man gegen Aufpreis mieten - Weg zur Unterkunft sehr steil und eng, aber Parkplätze für zwei bis drei Autos - sehr warm im Sommer, keine Klimaanlage und nur Ventilatoren - Nachbarn legen wert auf Ruhe, böse Blicke beim ausgelassenen Pool planschen oder abends auf der Terrasse sitzen und unterhalten - alles sauber, jedoch könnten die Bäder erneuert werden (Armaturen defekt/ Abfluss verstopft) - Mückenspray empfohlen, da abends Stechmücken rumfliegen

Eliza’s villa is marvelous. The reality absolutely matches the pictures. It’s very quiet and still only 10 minutes walk to the Stresa center. Eliza and her staff are very helpful and gave us great tips. Me and my dad enjoyed our stay and we’ll be back next time we are in the area.

Après avoir quitté en urgence notre 1ère location face à la malhonnêteté de nos précédents hôtes, Barbara et Stefano nous ont accueillis avec gentillesse, réactivité et bienveillance du jour au lendemain. Ils ont mis tout leur coeur pour sauver nos vacances. C’est une villa très propre, immense, confortable chargée d’histoire, rénovée avec goût. Idéalement située face à l’église, vue sur le château, une pause suspendue dans le temps pour se ressourcer au calme avec piscine. Aux petits soins pour leurs invités, ils ont un grand sens du service et font les choses avec leur coeur. Une fois sur place vous serez émerveillés. C’est « un petit trésor » , « une perle rare ». Nous vous remercions pour tout 🙏🏻. Deux petits anges sur notre chemin ⭐️. Nous restons convaincus que l’univers fait toujours en sorte de replacer les gens là où ils doivent être.…Nous devions vivre cela, vous rencontrer et nous retrouver à cet endroit précis. Merci de montrer que des gens bien existent toujours sur Airbnb ❤️

Hi Property has a great outside space which is why we chose it, Pool ,bbq, plenty of sunbeds, music system. Inside are huge areas but didn't really use as we visited in Summer. The interior is dated from a taste p.o.v but everything you can think of is supplied and its very clean and well looked after. Area is suburban but only 5 minutes from the lake and beach, 10 minutes into the old town with goods bars & restaurants. Great host always contactable.

Erholung pur! Wir (6 Personen, zwei befreundete Familien) hatten eine tolle Zeit in Cascina Vercellina. Absolut ruhig, großer Pool, riesiger Garten (den insbesondere unsere Hündin geliebt hat). Ausflüge in die Umgebung haben unsere Woche ergänzt: zum Kloster und Wallfahrtsort Oropa (UNESCO Weltkulturerbe), nach Turin (ca. 60 min Fahrt), nach Biella (super Metzger und schöne kleine Läden) und ein Ausflug zu La Bessa, einer Azienda Agricola, wo wir Haselnüsse und Nusscreme gekauft haben. Cristina (Co-Gastgeberin) war super freundlich und hilfreich mit Tipps. Spannend für unseren angehenden Biologiestudenten: Es gibt zahlreiche Tiere und Pflanzen zu entdecken! Auch das haben wir sehr genossen.

Alles war perfekt. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos dargestellt. Es ist super, einen eigenen privaten Parkplatz direkt bei der Unterkunft zu haben. Das Frühstück war einwandfrei und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Jegliche Arten an Kaffees wurden zubereitet und auch Eierspeisen in allen Variationen wurden frisch für einen gemacht. Der Pool ist super, um mittags sich zu entspannen und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Donatella hat uns super empfangen, immer schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und uns Empfehlungen für die Gegend mitgeteilt. Auch die Angestellten vor Ort waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
