We had a great stay. One Queen Street is a small block of four apartments built about 4 years ago and our unit was elegantly and tastefully furnished The flat was kept extremely clean by the lovely Denise and Asante. A ten minute walk takes you to the shops and restaurants in Speightstown which has a terrific selection of both bars and restaurants to eat in. A highlight was the beach which was only a few minutes walk from the apartment and which was almost deserted most days as it is difficult to find the way onto it unless you know of the cut through to it. Although not right on the beach we had a green outlook and caught glimpses of monkeys on their evening stroll across our garden wall. Jazz, our host, who is charming, was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay and is very knowledgeable about the area. Wish we were still there!

we had a wonderful stay at Kodi's and would recommend to everyone. clean, well appointed and exactly as described. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean with good water pressure in the shower. the kitchen was equipped for light cooking and the welcome basket was really appreciated! Having access to laundry facilities was helpful.. and although there was a dryer, the clothes dried quickly on the line. Mihaela walked with us to show us a shortcut to the beach/bus station. They also lent us a couple of beach chairs which made beach days much better!! overall, the location is good, the place is great and the hosts are wonderful. Don't hesitate to book with them! we are already rebooked for next year!!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is well stocked with everything you could need, even an air fryer!! Wonderful balcony that even has a sea view. Short walk to the beach and our favourite lunch spot Caboose. Would highly recommend a stay here!

We’ve stayed at lots of AirBnBs all over the world and Pierre’s place will stay in our hearts! It is spacious, breezy, well equipped and comfortable. The big balcony is a lovely place to hang out and the laundry rack and clothes line thoughtfully provided. Pierre is around if you need him and even took us on a walk to look for monkeys and local fruit. Staying in a true Barbadian neighbourhood is a delight - the neighbours love a chat, and you can watch road tennis at the corner! There are two beaches in close walking distance - we recommend the one just south of St Peter’s Bay Resort, there’s a Beach Access sign right beside a small white bridge on the main road, follow the path and be amazed at the lovely bays with practically nobody else there! It’s also an easy walk in the other direction to Speightstown - don’t miss the delicious fish cutters at the Caboose! We stayed 12 days and can highly recommend staying at Pierre’s place!

There are many places to stay on Barbados, but few offer such a tranquil stay as Canvas & Cave. The clean, well appointed apartments each offer a good sized covered verandah from which to watch the sun set over the Caribbean. The well maintained pool, with an equally good view over the fields to the sea, was a very pleasant option on days when we chose simply to relax "at home". Standing alone at the crest of a hill and surrounded by cane fields and trees, this adapted former plantation house enjoys a constant refreshing breeze, especially at night as you drift off in total quiet, disturbed only by the chorus of tree frogs. This is not for those seeking the dense tourist areas of the South or West coasts. A car is essential, and be prepared for a public road up to the property which reflects the state of many of the minor roads on the island. But the journey is worth it, and soon just becomes part of the experience provided by a welcoming host.

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was a great size for 2 guests, a lovely living space inside and a nice courtyard at the back of the property. Halim was a great host, providing clear instructions on check in and check out, he sent over a couple of suggestions of places to try near by- Caboose in particular became a fast favourite. When I’m next in Barbados I will look to book with Halim! Thank you for having us.

My mother and I enjoyed our stay at this place! The rooms were spacious with clean bathrooms and kitchen with every appliance. We loved the area where it’s located, it’s a lot of great restaurants in walking distance and is always right across from the beach and is in front of a bus stop for an option of transportation. We will definitely stay here again!

We loved this tastefully decorated and restful Villa and have already booked it for next year. Chanel and her team were so helpful, proactive and caring. She even came to our rescue when our flight was cancelled and we needed to extend the stay. Pool was lovely and quiet and the people we met around Schooner Bay were very friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Incredible villa in an amazing location walkable to beautiful Gibbes Bay and Mullins Beach. Plenty of space for three generations of our family to celebrate a big birthday. The gardens are mature and so lovely. We saw monkeys and humming birds regularly from the deck. Clean and tidy, we wanted for nothing. The pool was delightful and very well maintained. Communication with Sarah was absolutely brilliant, and her recommendations top drawer! Can’t fault our stay at all- I sincerely hope we will be back again soon, thank you. *****

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We travelled with two young children and Donna was so accommodating throughout to ensure we had the best holiday. The location of the house was perfect, just over the road from the gorgeous Mullins Beach. The house had everything we needed with two en suite bathrooms, a nice large living area and external patio and outside area. The outdoor shower was useful. We will definitely be back when we next travel to Barbados. Thank you Donna.

We were a family of 6, (3 generations) and the property is set up for privacy. With 3 bathrooms it made for an easy time to all get ready. The pool was lovely and the walk to the sea was an easy walk. It was very entertaining watching the monkey's eat from the mango trees in the mornings. Nice to have clothslines to hang wet towels and swimsuits on. I felt like we were guests in a Barbadian home, very authentic. It was conveniently located. The information sheet we received from the host Charlie before we arrived was very informative. We couldn't find a key to a gate and she responded within minutes. We hated to leave.

Well located, well equipped, well managed. A little tricky to find but that's on Barbados not owner (very few street signs anywhere). Great location - short walk to beautiful beach, easy walk to "town" for restaurants, grocery stores, gas, ATM, bakeries, bus station. Well managed by owner Debby (from London) and housekeeper Marion (on island). Being able to connect via "WhatsAp" was helpful. Marion went above and beyond - walked us into town our 1st evening there to show us where everything was located (very helpful). Well equipped - beach towels, beach chairs, beach bag plus well equipped kitchen. Very much enjoyed our 5 day stay.

Very clean and as described

This is my second visit and I can't wait to return. The Villa is a home with space and everything one could possibly need. So close to the beach and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and quiet.

Great townhouse within a few steps of a beautiful beach and bars/restaurants. Cozy and well set up with everything we needed. Regular housekeeping a lovely touch and quick responses from hosts when we needed it. Felt secure and safe with easy parking. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Loved the place and the city. It is great for staying there with a car (without may be really difficult- steep walk to the city). Silen and safe area with very small traffic. You can have some guests like monkeys/birds - but they are not entering to home - birds ask for some food monkeys are trying to go through garden unnoticed. There is 2km approximately to the coastline, but the walk is through the jungle which is really safe. Judith is extremely friendly, she recommended us nice places to visit, she started communication and posted all the recommendations. Loved the accompany of Tiger and Lilly (cat and dog) - they are not interrupting the stay).

We had a fantastic time at Ashli’s apartment in Speightstown. The apartment exceeded expectations - it was beautifully designed, immaculately clean and had all the little finishing touches of a really premium stay. I was a little reticent booking purely because it was a new listing with only two reviews but I needn’t have worried - Ashli was a fantastic host with excellent communication and was clearly really invested in us having a brilliant stay. Would defo stay here again and we loved Speightstown.

Speightstown is a fabulous spot on the island. Michael’s place is close to everything you need all in walking distance. The balcony was our favourite place for morning coffee and evening cocktails while watching a beautiful sunset. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus. Michael was quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks Michael.

Probably one of the best locations in Port Saint Charles. Has a view over the ocean on one side and over the marina on the other side providing sun when you want it, shade when you want it and interest any time. The apartment itself is stylishly kitted out and has every amenity you could wish for. We have been coming to the island for over 25 years and finally found this apartment which is probably our favourite accommodation from all that we have had.

We loved this apartment. It was spacious, modern, very clean. The living area was big as was the master bedroom suite and kitchen. There were 3 good size balconies, 2 looking to the sea and one over the pool area. The pool and BBQ area was very nice with plenty of seating and attractively laid out with plants. Palm Retreat is in a quiet area but only 5 minutes walk to Mullins Beach and 10 minutes walk to Gibbes Beach. There is a small shop attached to the garage at the end of the road, and there are several bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our only slight negative was an intermittent problem with hot water in the kitchen, it being the furthest away from the solar power heat source. The hosts are aware of this and aim to redress it.

We enjoyed our family stay over the holidays. The local beach was the best on the island for snorkeling in my opinion. The location had everything we could ask for.

The unit was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for experiencing the island, with easy access to attractions and beaches. A car rental is highly recommended to explore everything the area has to offer. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at Post St Charles. The pools are great and the beaches beautiful. Apartment 260 is just as described, with everything you could need and in a great location. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and hope to return soon.

The Appartment is lovely and very comfortable with a large balcony. It is set in a quiet gated area just opposite Mullins beach. Rose who manages the property is charming and exceedingly helpful. We have now stayed there three times and are coming back next year! We would highly recommend it.
