Shandaken: soggiorni in boutique hotel

I loved my stay at the abandoned zoo! Shawn's an excellent host, and the instructions I received about the arrival were very clear. Shawn showed me around the property on my first day there so I could get a good view of the place, and it was really fun to explore on my own during the next couple of days. He also responded quickly and met me on the trail when I called about trying to find one of the buildings I wanted to see. The elephant room was lovely, with a comfortable bed. Oh, and the adorable goats and chickens are a nice bonus. Thanks so much for an all-around wonderful stay!

My wife and I stayed at Neil & Kryssy’s while in town for a class reunion. Check-in could not have been easier, and the room was just as described and was immaculate. Our room was close to great restaurants, a tavern, and a great little bakery that was across the street. A bonus was finding out that the Catskill Creek was right nearby as well. Our room was comfortable and was a great place to relax and rest up during our hectic weekend. Neil & Kryssy are great hosts whose place helped make our weekend even more relaxing.

We had a great weekend at the Bull and Garland. It's a very special inn, filled with character, not too fussy. Our hosts were super-responsive to everything we needed, while somehow running a buzzing restaurant at the same time. Don't miss out, the food and drinks downstairs were another highlight.

We had a great stay! The host was super communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the parking lot, check in, etc. They even gave us a heads-up when the weather started to turn, so that we could plan accordingly. The room was comfortable and very spacious, and the location was super convenient. Even with a winter storm hitting, we were able to walk to coffee shops, great restaurants, and multiple bookstores. Would definitely recommend!

Easy, old timey place with self-check in. Bill was very nice and easy, room was warm on a cold night, would stay again.

Wow… such a a beautiful quaint weekend!! We seriously enjoyed our time here - the room was fabulous and had everything we needed for our stay. The amazing bathtub, shower and Roku TV was an added bonus!! Everything was perfect about our stay here and have already recommended to so many people!! Can’t rave about this place enough - thank you Rest Co!!!

Our stay the Seminary Hill Boarding House was a dream. Each bedroom was roomy and had an adorable bathroom. The apartment itself was so well curated and special. The beds were heavenly and so comfortable. Need to buy the bedding to make my home bedroom and oasis like theirs. Location wise it was perfect. Right in town, and a short drive to nearby towns. If you sat on the porch you could see the river which was so special and pretty. Extras- the homemade cookies were a delicious treat to be welcomed to. And the breakfast in the main house was such a nice addition to the stay. Would love to come back and stay again!!

The hotel was absolutely adorable. So chic and cute, the room itself was beautiful. Right on the main strip with all of the cute restaurants and shops, we had an amazing time. There was a coffee bar on each floor with an espresso machine and coffee pot, it was great. I will be staying again!

This was our second stay at Peter’s and it was just as great as the first time!
