Vancouver Island: soggiorni in minicase

This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

Wonderful stay at Raylia farm! Cabin is so cozy with the wood stove and the location is perfect for exploring the heart of Mayne. We loved the pups too!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. What a special spot! We enjoyed exploring the inlet with the canoe provided and exploring some of the local hikes. Be sure to try to the local Mexican Restaurant. We loved the seclusion and quiet this cabin provided with easy access to any groceries or other amenities we might need.

Exactly as shown in the pictures and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely be coming back!

Emphasis on the MICRO! The place itself was very clean. The bed is SUPER comfy, though beware that the ceiling is VERY close, and it can be hard to sit up fully in there. The "yoga area" definitely would be impossible to do yoga in as you can barely sit up straight in there as well. It's a 15 minute walk to a very beautiful, semi-secluded portion of beach. The property is very chill and pretty as well. The one negative thing I found was that the main window had a direct view of the bed from the driveway, with no curtain, so doesn't feel very private. Though we never met her, Karen was very responsive and helpful.

I had a blissful three-night solo stay in Wildwood Cabin #1. The cabin is spacious and well-appointed with all the essentials. The baseboard heaters and the wood stove ensure that it is warm and cozy. It is so dark and quiet at night, which makes it incredibly peaceful. On my last night, it rained heavily and I fell asleep to the sound of the rain on the roof. The cabin is a ways out of town, so you'll need to come stocked, as I did, or have a vehicle. However, I got there all by public transit and it was very smooth. I enjoyed hiking up Mt Gardner on one day and into Snug Cove via Bowen Island's huge network of trails. I attended a yoga class one evening, which was wonderful. Reg is a great host. I enjoyed chatting with him, and appreciated the coffee and tea top-up when I realized I'd left a bag of supplies at home! Overall, an amazing stay, and I can't wait to go back!

Incredible stay in the PNW! Perfect location for exploring the Olympic National Park and could not have asked for a better stay. Adrienne and Jim are such kind and welcoming hosts, the breakfasts were amazing and the treehouse is beyond gorgeous, very comfortable and warm. Loved it!

Wonderful experience! The cabin was clean and cozy and just as described. Anne was super helpful with recommendations for arriving by bike (the hills!!) and checking in. A quiet, out-of-the-way, beautiful spot in the forest. Although close by, it felt very private from the main home. Would definitely stay again!

Darci's place was so lovely! It was beyond my expectations of what I was hoping for - quiet, comforting, and rejuvenating. I would recommend this place to anyone, and hope to visit again soon!

Comfortable beds and facilities. Great deep bathtub! Our 6 year old loves the Hobbit’s loft room and the adorable farm animals. The place is cute with many thoughtful touches. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-located. The host was thoughtful and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. It was a great experience, and I’ll definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Cari and Ryan are excellent hosts, and were very responsive and communicative. Their place is gorgeous and the views were amazing. We felt right at home during our stay. We checked out most of the recommendations in their guidebook, and they were all excellent. 10/10 we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the lovely stay!

What a wonderful spot! We will return 100%. It was so clear that this cabin was intentionally put together with love and not just thrown together. The linens and furniture were really nice quality. The animals were absolutely lovely. The property was beautifully maintained. The signage and directions were very clear. The hot tub was perfect temperature.

Very cute place with great amenities, perfect for a little retreat! I loved the huge window in the living room area and cozy little futon, amazing place to read a book and relax. Plus it is close to Comox airport if you're catching an early flight from there. I'm definitely going to be checking if the cabin is available the next time I go to Comox! Thank you, Dawn!

Highly recommend Bethany’s place if visiting the area. It was spotless, had everything we needed, and our pup felt right at home with the fenced in yard and basket of toys! Loved the large bathroom and private feel. Bethany was super easy to get a hold of and was pleasant every step of the way. We would absolutely stay here again!

Extremely clean, fun, and cozy space. the heater and fire pit was nice touch. Tons of cute little hidden gems, they really leaned into the theme here so explore around the space. Perfect location for me in East Sooke.

Beautiful place to stay. We had such a wonderful time at Vancouver Island staying at this tiny house retreat. It was an amazing oasis – the location being surrounded in nature/forest with mountain view is private, peaceful and gorgeous, the Nordic spa is amazing, and the tiny house is really nice (including lovely bedding and very comfy beds – even though they are in a somewhat tight space). The hosts are so kind and helpful. We enjoyed many outdoor activities in the Nanaimo area, including the nearby hike at Ammonite Falls. Would love to come back and stay here again .

This was just the cutest little cottage! Perfect stay from beginning to end. The hosts have thought of every little detail to make sure that you have everything you need. The decor is fabulous and the bed is super comfy. We used many of the host’s recommendations for hikes in Olympic and they were all fantastic! Downtown Port Angeles is about 15 minutes away if you plan to go to restaurants or shopping there. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! It was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the beach access and even had a lovely beach fire while watching the sunset. 10/10 would stay again.

We had a very lovely two night stay at Jane’s cabin in the woods! We made good use of the bathhouse as the tub is a real highlight. Easy to transit into Sechelt and Gibsons with lots to do :) Would definitely return!

This place was so cool and funky but not at all cluttered. Lots of really great attention to detail. Everything you need including a nice big tv if you want to watch a show. Just across the street from the bluff and you can look out to beautiful Dungeness Spit- go walk it it's a pretty 11 mile( if you want to go that far) walk. Great restaurants a short drive away. Super comfortable big bed and pillows and a sweet little back area. We sat on the front patio and watched the stars at night. I think it would be a blast to rent all 6 units with friends and make use of the huge outdoor area with fire pit and bbq's. These guys were super accommodating for an early check in ( I wouldn't count on that though these places are busy). But we had a great time, good sleep, peaceful walks.

An off season stay means you get the unparalleled Puget Sound views and also quiet and peace. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Go grocery shopping on the way to the ferry in Anacortes and the cabin has all the equipment you need to cook. Drive from the ferry dock was short, beautiful, and well-signed.

Staying at Chris’s place was amazing. It was well beyond our expectations. The cabin was lovely and had incredible amenities. It’s only less than 10 mins away from Port Angels, so it was easy to grab food or coffee. It’s also close to lake crescent, which was absolutely beautiful. Chris was very responsive and recommended great trails to enjoy in winter. We were little concerned about visiting in winter but it was no problem driving here with a two wheeler car. Highly recommend this cabin and I would stay here again.

Jill & Ben’s tiny home farm stay was even better than advertised. We should’ve booked a longer stay, but will definitely be coming back. It’s cozy, thoughtfully laid out, and very peaceful on the farm and in the tiny home. We met chickens, goats, and cats! And the tiny home even came with a little fenced in yard so we could let our dog out by herself. Jill and Ben were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They gave us local recommendations, free eggs, wine, snacks, and were really nice to talk to. Very genuine people. Makes us want to visit again. What a gem of a find. The Japanese toilet in the detached washroom was an expected yet entirely welcome surprise. Especially the warmed seat in the cold morning! We didn’t utilize the outdoor bathtub due to the rain, but were it a little warmer we would’ve for sure. Exceptional stay!
