Vermont: soggiorni in iurte

Wonderful place to stay in Vermont! Thoroughly enjoyed the Lower Yurt, it is super cozy, cute, and peaceful. A special highlight was using the sauna on the property which Jonathan set up for us and provided cold mint tea to drink. For those arriving at night and in the snow, just be sure to download the welcome video offline and be sure you’re on the right path, the snow can make it a little confusing! :)

My daughter and I loved Bonna’s place ! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were completely surrounded by nature. The location was perfect, my daughter was riding at the Huntington Horse Farm, it was a quick drive from the yurt. Bonna was very quick to answer all of my questions. and was super flexible with check in and departure. We were lucky to meet her on our last night, it was wonderful to talk about how her space came to be what it is today. The yurt was a perfect little get away for us. We cannot wait to go back next time we are in the area. I loved exploring this part of Vermont, Bonna’s property is a magical place.

Wonderful!! Bonna's place is well-stocked and thoughtfully arranged, and she is the best. The area is also wonderful for hiking and outdoor fun. Highly recommend!

After a little trouble finding it (there was a winter road closure and it was dark) we found the yurt cozy and warm, the fire having been started for us. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Very peaceful setting on farm; we slept like babies. The bed was very comfortable with fresh linens and plenty of warm quilts. The next day the rooster even waited until 9 am to crow! One of the sheep was quite friendly approaching us to bleat hello. Beautiful views on awakening. Not a complaint but just be aware that you might have to approach the site from a different direction and it’s a few miles of unpaved road. Also wear sturdy shoes/boots for the best footing to and from the main house where the bathroom is. Overall great experience!

We had an absolutely magical stay at April’s Airbnb! The place felt like something out of a storybook—cozy, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The hot tub and amenities were fantastic, making our stay even more relaxing. April was an amazing host—super communicative and always available to answer any questions. Both she and Charlie went above and beyond, even helping us clear out the driveway when we needed to leave. Their helpful instructions and thoughtful touches (like fully stocked toiletries) made our stay seamless and stress-free. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway with wonderful hosts, look no further. We would love to come back again!

I stayed by myself in the yurt for 3 days, as a solo woman traveler I was nervous. But honestly Cathy was responsive whenever I had a question and was flexible with my check out times. And I felt very safe there. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of snowboarding. Only about 35 minutes from Killington. I could hear owls right outside which was awesome! It's equipped with a lot of towels and blankets, pots and pans, and even baking supplies.

It was a beautiful and peaceful stay. My friends and I loved the charm of the cabin and we especially loved having our morning coffee next to the fire bowl. Definitely worth the stay!

This was a beautiful rustic place for our family to gather for the eclipse. All of the amenities we needed (dishes, space, yoga mats, trails) and nothing we didn't (private flush toilets for bedrooms). We really appreciated the uniqueness of this spot and created some really wonderful memories. The costs with pets and extra people were a bit difficult to understand, but the hosts were very responsive and we worked out all of the issues there. Overall, it was a fabulous stay!

Ron was a great host and the place was even better than I expected from the photos. The homey yurt was cozy, clean and had everything needed. The sound of the Jay Branch River flowing by made for a very peaceful experience. I look forward to staying there on my future visits to the beautiful NEK.

We loved our stay in the yurt and were sad to leave! Kitchen was stocked well for your cooking needs. Place was clean and directions were clear. It was rainy and chilly during our stay, and the wood stove kept us cozy and warm. Great selection of records, books and games. I would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to be back - it’s a truly special spot!

The yurt was wonderful! The hosts were very accomodating! The attention to detail is outstanding and it's a very cute yurt! The only thing I'd say is the propane fireplace, which is lovely, is quite loud, so be prepared. We did however come at a particularly cold and snowy time of year.

My boyfriend and I had a great time in the Yurt! We love to hike and be in nature, and this was the perfect spot surrounded by mountains and various trails. The pictures don’t show the amount of furniture and amenities in the yurt itself. There was a couch and bunk bed in addition to the main bed in the images. There were also many board games that kept us busy when it rained. The outhouse was the cleanest and least buggy outhouse I’ve ever used! The wood stove also kept the yurt plenty warm. When we stayed it only got down to low 40s, but it got warm very quick. The kitchen is about 15 feet away from the front door of the yurt and is stocked with cookware and utensils for some simple meals. Overall, I could not recommend this place more if you love the mountains and nature in general!
