After arriving at the main square of Kessariani (a short taxi ride from the center or on the 224 bus), I will meet you and take you to a picturesque square just one street away to tell you the first part of my story about the area which starts in 1922. After this, we will commence on a circular walk with me pointing out different places and sights along the way. The talk is divided into four parts, generally going in chronological order and as we proceed you will see traces of the past and be able to visualize what life was like. There were not only immeasurable hardships for the inhabitants, but they created a close-knit community through hard won victories. Arriving destitute as refugees from Asia Minor and building new lives from scratch, the people of Kessariani were admirably resistant and brought with them a new and vibrant way of life. The tour will take an hour and a half and we will arrive back at the square we started from.

All of them are well socialized with children and adults of all ages, calm and used to get treats (such as carrots) from our guests. Moda is a lively, artsy, and close-knit community that has taken an entirely new approach to the care of its street cats and dogs. Our focus has been to ‘adopt’ stray animals as a community- not as individuals- to tag and feed our four-legged friends, to provide medical help when needed, and of course to shower them with love and affection. LEARN MOSAIC IN ATHENS A four (4) hours course in the center of Athens, right above the Ancient cemetery of Keramicos and very close to the Acropolis and the historical center of Athens, we teach people how to create their own mosaic based on Ancient Greek, Roman and modern designs. Using the direct method our participients will be able to create their mosaic and take it to their home in four hours. Other things to note The concept does not need any experience on making mosaics.

I will take you on a culinary adventure of the national Bulgarian cuisine. We will prepare seasonal meals and use fresh and locally grown products from the small local grocery stores. Together we will cook a hands-on four-course, traditional Bulgarian meal, including banitsa, a main dish, a salad or a soup, and a light dessert. We will start with the preparation of the classic pastry for banitsa from scratch while talking about mystical Bulgarian food and culture habits stories.
